William Hoggatt (1879-1961) was a British landscape painter, trained in Lancashire and Paris. He moved to the Isle of Man in 1907 and his home and studio became a meeting place for the Island’s artistic community. He was unstinting in his support for local artists and regularly exhibited at the Manx Museum.
