Description: This rosette was produced for the unsuccessful 1991 House of Keys election campaign of Gregory Joughin, to be worn by his supporters.
The rosette has two rows of pleated ribbon, scarlet and dark green, with green card disc in centre with the words 'Gregory Joughin' . There are scarlet & green hanging ribbons below.
Joughin stood for the Glenfaba seat against sitting candidate Walter Gilbey. Joughin polled 111 votes and lost his deposit, standing on a Manx nationalist platform or manifesto. Joughin has long been associated with Manx nationalist policies, but in more recent years is best known for his involvement with Manx music and culture.
