Description: A print cut-out and mounted in the sketchbook of Sarah Jametta Crigan. Villa Marina House, Douglas. Copper plate (or steel) engraving c.1835 on pink tinted thin paper, with faint 'offset' on reverse. Possibly cut out from advertisement of the Misses Dutton's School.
Sarah Jametta was the daughter of Claudius Crigan (Bishop of Sodor and Man 1784-1813) and author of 'Memoirs of Major Charles Crigan' (her brother) published in 1864.
