Description: Moulding plane. Belonging to grandfather of husband of donor, William James Moore (joiner and builder circa 1850, Douglas). Stamped 'N. Lilley' on end.
[Possibly William Moore, joiner, 14 New Bond Street, Douglas on 1851 Census, but the name is a very common one. Lilley however is far less common and there is apparently no match for N.Lilley among Manx records. The same is true for M.Andrew]
