Cotton Wholecloth Quilt

Description: A reversible cotton wholecloth quilt with a pink rose and beige floral pattern fabric with pink damask edges and pink and white striped cotton edging. Both sides of the quilt have a border of patches of pale pink damask along the long sides, and striped pink and white cotton on the shorter sides. The centres of the quilt are both floral fabrics. On one side this is beige, white and pink, and on the other side white and pink.

The quilt is hand quilted in alternating stripes of straight lines and a diamond/ lattice pattern with white cotton thread. The quilt is bound on the damask sides with one line of machine stitching in white cotton thread. The quilt contains wadding/ filling.

The patchwork quilt is from the home of Miss Mona Woodworth, Port St Mary.
