Description: Children's uniform jacket of Manx Volunteer. Authentic in detail. Made by Cahourne (tailor), Athol Street, Douglas, to the design of Major J. Spittal, Commander of the Manx Volunteers.
Length centre back 19 1/2 inch; chest circa 24 inch; underarm 111/2 inch.
Worn by donor at a children's fancy dress ball held at the Masonic Hall, Loch Promenade, Douglas, around 1887.
