Side drum used by the old Castletown Band

Description: Musical instrument. This rope-tensioned side drum was used by the old Castletown Band. It is made of wood, possibly oak, and is decorated with a pattern in brass studs. The rims (possibly not original) are painted navy blue, and lined with a red and white wavy band between 15 inch diameter 16 inch high. There is a decorative pattern in the brass studs.
