Bruce Anstey's 'Relentless' GSXR1000 Suzuki motorcycle
Date made: 2007
Maker: Suzuki Motorcycle Company
Description: Suzuki GSXR 1000 motorcycle, chassis number JS1CC11101036, in black 'Relentless' livery. Number 5 in white on red background. This was the machine used by Bruce Anstey to win the 2007 Superstock Isle of Man Tourist Trophy (TT) race (later used in the 2007 Ulster Grand Prix and afterwards presented by TAS Racing to Bruce Anstey). With original Relentless dust cover and aluminium paddock stand (hand written 'Anstey').
The 2007 race was Anstey's fourth Superstock win on the trot and Suzuki's sixth (they would also go on to win the Superstock race the following year). It represents an era in which Anstey and Suzuki dominated the Superstock event. The win was against the overall run of play in 2007 with every other race that year won by HM Plant Honda. Northern Ireland-based TAS Racing had signed a sponsorship deal with energy drink Relentless which saw them appear as 'Relentless by TAS Racing'. The black & white livery was an instant hit with fans.
