Description: Moulding plane. Belonging to grandfather of husband of donor ie. William James Moore (joiner and builder circa 1850, Douglas). 'Hathersich' and 'N. Lilley' and one other illegible stamped on end. Illustration in accession register 5.
[Possibly William Moore, joiner, 14 New Bond Street, Douglas on 1851 Census, but the name is a very common one. Lilley however is far less common and there is apparently no match for N.Lilley among Manx records. The same is true for M.Andrew]
