Goose wing brush
Description: Goose wing. White feather and bone wing used to sweep the crumbs off the table. Long stiff flight feathers work as bristles on a brush and the upper boned part of the wing provides a handle. Made specifically for Museum as an example of a goose wing brush. Ref. Manx Museum Journal vol.VII No.85 p.126 to cleaning/brushing griddle with a goose wing (article on oat and barley bread).43 x 8 x 4 cm.
