Isle of Man two pint milk carton

Description: This carton of milk was produced by the Isle of Man Milk Marketing Association, and retailed by Presto's supermarket in Douglas.
The front shows a blue and white snow scene at Tynwald Hill, St Johns, with a band of holly and berries across carton together with 'Seasons Greetings' and 'Two pints fresh pasteurised milk 1 .136 litres.' There is also a £1 gift voucher on reverse, for bottles of wine at Coopers Wine stores in Douglas.
Presto's supermaket on Market Street subsequently became Safeways, before becoming briefly part of the Morrisons chain and latterly Shoprite. The Milk Marketing Association subsequently became Isle of Man Creameries and has been a success story, developing speciality cheeses and other products.
