Fossiliferous limestone

Description: Light brownish grey glacial erratic pebble or bioclastic limestone. Well-preserved but very broken fragments of crinoids and unidentifiable shells. One side of the pebble has a thin coating of sub-rounded, medium-sized quartz grains, probably related to its glacial origin. Found by Larch Garrad January 1988
