Description: Belvedere Hotel receipt book. Hardback bound book, pages have perforated edges. Alternate pages have 4 pale blue perforated receipt (ESD) with carbon copy on other pages. Unused. From box orig. containing 12 receipt books. Found in 'attic' space above office behind bar therefore not in current use. 18.6 x 9.3 x 1.4 cm.
The Belvedere Hotel finally closed in 1988. By the 1990s various parts of the Douglas promenade were redeveloped for new office and apartment developments, including the Belvedere Hotel.
