First World War naval rating's jumper
Date made: early 20th century
Maker: unknown maker
Description: White linen top as worn by Royal Navy ratings during the First World War.
This jumper is believed to have belonged to J.W.Taggart, Royal Naval Reserve, uncle (?) of the donor. However there are no badges of rank etc visible, so possibly an early item. See other items from Taggart's naval uniform in MNH collections.
