Description: Found in store, (Natural History or Archaeology Storage), Manx Co-op tin - rectangular tin with hinged lid, dark/light blue and white striped design on sides and floral design on lid. 'Manx Co-op 50 years 1920-1970' on side. Used to hold tea possibly. Found with old tins containing birds eggs.
Established in 1920, the Manx Co-operative Society opened its first shop in Douglas the same year.
