Description: Hand coloured views of Douglas produced during the Second World War in the Hutchinson Internment Camps and Falcon Cliff Internment Hospital. Produced with a Gestetner Cyclograph or similar.

Bruno Ahrends has three cards in the HO396 series. He was born in Berlin in 1878 and was living at 59 Hills Road, Cambridge, occupation architect. In 1939 he was considered exempt from internment. By 21.6.40 however he had been interned, and he was recorded as held in Hutchinson Camp with number 67669. His release was authorised 15.4.1942.
