Knockaloe Internment Camp brooch
Date made: 1916
Description: Knockaloe silver brooch made of three overlapping 3d pieces. Centre coin has fretted clockwise triskelis and 'M.H./H.W. Quocunque Keceris Stabit' on edge. Right coin has engraved 'Isle of Man 1916' and view of Corrin's Tower behind huts in centre. Left coin has 'Knockaloe 1915' and view of huts and figures in centre. Pin clasp on reverse and the original obverse & reverse of a George V 3d coin. 1.6 x 4.1 cm.
