Description: Ship in a bottle, made by an internee as gift to celebrate the donor's first birthday. Given by internee to donor's grandfather Walter Bott who was chief clerk at the camp. Model of four masted ship in full sail flying red ensign at stern, painted green and red on sides and 'David' painted on one side at prow and stern. Label on inside 'S. Camp. Douglas. I.O.Man. 20.8.42'. Neck of bottle painted red and green.
