Description: An allegorical painting entitled 'Midsummer Night's Dream'. Described in article in IoM Examiner 29th December 1950 (see artist files) as 'It consisted of four nudes, a pantomine ass, a snake, a rabbit and a Manx cat against a forest background. "The as is Bottom the Weaver, looking stupidly at Titania, the Fairy Queen, and her attendents," said Mr Bridson. "Titania and the other fairies are disgusted with him, the snake is hissing at him, the Manx cat is arching its back at him and the rabbit is running away'.
