Rushen Camp internee-made rag doll
Date made: 1940-1943
Description: Rag doll, metal frame wrapped and padded in wool cloth. Figure wearing blue pointed hat with large floppy rim and a red band. Figure also has blue wool trousers, a cream shirt and a yellow waistcoat with floral neckerchief and red plastic waistband.
Made by internees in Mona House, Bay View Road, Port Erin (Rushen Internment Camp) for Brenda Watterson 1940-1943.
