Description: Stone or concrete mould (made from a gatepost cap or pillar), found in a ditch between St Johns and Peel. Design in relief and reversed, oval shape with raised border and a central design of globe, wheat sheaves and factory (agriculture and industry) with rising sun, swastika and Italian fascist symbol to symbolise Japanese, Nazi, fascist world domination. Thought to be from the Peveril Civilian Internment Camp in Peel. The 18b detainees at Peveril Camp were Nazi, fascist sympathisers. The object has an impressed inscription: IOM 1942 AN
