Naval dirk or dagger belonging to Peter Heywood of the 'Bounty'

Description: Napoleonic era Royal Naval officer's Dirk or dagger. Polished wooden handle with brass hand guard and pummell, also a steel blade with shallow groove. No markings. Nb the appearance of the scabbard suggests that this may once have been a longer sword which has been shortened.
Belonged to Peter Heywood of the Mutiny on the Bounty.
