Plaster monument Onchan Internment Camp

Date made: c.1940s

Description: Four sided pillar capped with a globe. Each side has a moulded inscription and picture panel. 'June 1940 Separation', '1941 Nostalgia', '1942 Sacrifice', '1943 Faith'. Painted bronze. Made by an internee from Onchan Camp. Given to donor's husband who was a member of the Home Guard and lived at 13 Falkland Drive, Onchan, during the Second World War. He visited the internment camps on a regular basis.
