Description: A plaster scale model for a bronze sculpture by Frank Mowbray Taubman (1868-1946) set on wooden base. The artist was the son of Robert Taubman who was born c.1841 in Ballaugh, Isle of Man. The sculpture depicts a naked group of figures, apparently father, mother and young child, crawling out of waves on to rocks. Black overpaint, signed & dated on base.
