Belvedere Hotel room sign
Description: Belvedere Hotel room signs. Stained and varnished rectangluar wooden block with clear glass plate screws to front, glass back-painted in black and gold (lettering) 'Bedrooms 7-12. 1-6'. Fixed on landing to indicate bedroom numbers on that corridor. In green, in corner of sign 'CP Signs, Ballymena, North Ireland'.
The Belvedere Hotel finally closed in 1988. By the 1990s various parts of the Douglas promenade were redeveloped for new office and apartment developments, including the Belvedere Hotel.
