Cooper's Driver
Description: Driver. Wooden wedge with iron/steel riveted collar around top and a metal tip. Tip has grooved end to prevent it slipping off the iron hoops when they are being driven/hammered onto the cask. Used at Okell's Brewery, Douglas by cooper until 1980. Top of wedge frayed and split from impact of hammer.
