Description: Original artwork for a holiday poster and associated advertising campaign, commissioned by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company. Norman Wilkinson was famed for his poster art, working for many of British railway and shipping companies in the early 20th century. This rather idealised painting shows the seafront at Ramsey against the backdrop of a heather clad North Barrule and the Albert Tower. Several pleasure craft are shown in the foreground.
