Isle of Man Volunteers uniform tunic worn by Captain J.H.Cubbon

Description: Scarlet tunic of Isle of Man Volunteers walking out dress. Silver lace, and white metal buttons. Dark blue facings on cuffs and collar, King's Regiment collar badges. Four inverted stripes on right cuff indicating long service, also five badges above the stripes indicating annual camps at which the wearer was classified as efficient.
Worn by donor's father Captain J.H. Cubbon, Finch Road, Douglas, when he was a Non Commissioned Officer prior to the First World War.
There is a photograph of Cubbon wearing this uniform together with a shooting cup (ID number: PG/8655/1489).
