Cobbler's tools

Description: Rounded block of fine grained dark grey rock, with well polished surface and two flattened faces. Probably a cobbler's hammering block. Latterly used as a door stop at late Mrs Walter Karran's Cottage at Cregneash (recently presented to the Museum by donor, on behalf of the brother and sisters), which use may account for the flattened faces. 6 3/4 inch x 4 1/2 inch x 2 7/8 inch overall.
