Baker's Delivery Cart

Date made: early 20th century

Description: Baker's delivery cart, of W.K. Callow, Ramsey, bearing the following inscription on each side 'Callows Stores Bakers and Grocers' used in and about Ramsey until about 1939 and found in an old property purchased by the donors, at North Shore Road, Ramsey. The cart was built by Messrs. Corlett and Sons, Coachbuilders, Dale Street, Ramsey. (almost certainly the coach work would be painted by Bobby Kinrade, Queens Street, Ramsey). The brass wheel hubs are impressed 'Corlett & sons Builders Ramsey'.
