St Patrick's Isle Pagan Lady Burial Glass Bead
Date made: Viking: 800-1265
Description: Cylindrical, opaque yellow bead with three millefiori motifs each comprising a central red dot with straight dark purpley-red and white lines radiating outwards.
Scientific analysis of chemical composition by Julian Henderson showed a content of mostly silica dioxide for the matrix and for all three decorative colours.
