St Patrick's Isle Pagan Lady Burial Glass Bead
Date made: Viking: 800-1265
Description: Annular, globular, translucent bottle green colour. Possible fracture line shows winding process of manufacture. Some debris from inside the inner hole of the bead also included.
Scientific analysis of chemical composition by Julian Henderson showed a content of mostly silica dioxide for the matrix.
