Description: A framed and glazed Isle of Man Tourist Trophy (TT) race bib/ back bib worn by Bob McIntyre at the 1957 TT Races when he broke the 100mph lap record.
Scotsman Bob McIntyre was the first rider to break the 100mph lap record on the TT Mountain course. McIntyre broke the iconic 100mph barrier twice on a Gilera during the blue riband Senior TT race and went on to win, beating the current World Champion John Surtees.
He also won the 1952 Junior Manx Grand Prix race and the 1959 Formula One TT.
