Castletown Grammar School marbles

Description: Collection of 17 old marbles of stone and clay, found by the donor, (the stone mason in charge of the works), in two caches, on the rock surface, beneath the basal layer of soil, in the centre of the two more westerly arches of Castletown Grammar School. Found when the rubble infilling which blocked these arches was removed, during restoration work, in May 1964.
