Woollen Wholecloth Quilt

Description: A woollen wholecloth quilt with a red dyed top cloth. The red top is made from two lengths of woollen fabric sewn together to make the wholecloth. It is a hand-woven tab weave cloth.
The quilt is backed with a white woollen blanket made of two lengths of fabric sewn together. It is hand-quilted with white woollen thread in a zig-zag pattern and has white wool fleece as wadding.
This quilt is from the Joughin family of Thurot cottage, Bride.
