Fork of Laxey silver

Description: Fork of Laxey silver so marked between 3-legs. Marked:- Fleur-de-lys D and A L. (trademark of Daniel and Arter Limited, Birmingham). Donors are sisters. These were a wedding present to their grandmother who married Patrick Walsh, the son of the licensee of the Beehive Hotel (Ramsey) who came from Waterford.

A Patrick Walsh is recorded as marrying in Douglas 1896, and this may provide a date for this object.
