Fossil ammonites, bivalves and brachiopods

Description: Collection of fossils made some years ago possibly circa 1900- Stated by donor to be from Scarlett and/or Port St Mary point e-h (Ammonites) are not from Manx rock but could be beach pebbles. Further ammonites and pecten disposed of as certainly non-Manx. a) poorly-preserved ?Jurassic gryphea. b) two inter-twined gryphea. c) moderately-preserved brachiopod. d) well-preserved brachiopod. g) 5cm x 5cm x 2cm, half of a Jurassic ammonite, split longitudinally with one half showing a well preserved ammonite and the other being a wave-worn? nodule. f) 6cm x 7cm x 4cm, well preserved ammonite in a nodule. e and h are also ammonites in nodules.
