Gary Dickinson motorcycle racing helmet

Description: White 'pudding basin' style racing helmet with scrutineers' stickers for 1961, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967 and 1968 Isle of Man Tourist Trophy (TT) races. Worn at TT races in 1960s by Gary Dickinson, motorcycle dealership owner from Liverpool. He was known as 'the Mighty Atom'.
Dickinson competed in the TT between 1958 and 1970. His best result was third in the 1969 Ultra-lightweight race.
