Description: A shallow circular glazed ceramic dish with a raised central design of a Norse/ Viking ship on a shield and an inscription '979 Millennium 1979 of Tynwald'. The dish is a mottled green/ brown and blue on top and pale blue underneath. Inscribed in base 'Gansey I.O.M.'. The commemorative piece was made at the Gansey Pottery as a souvenir for the Manx Millennium in 1979.
