Internee-made macrame belt
Date made: 1940-1944
Description: A red macrame belt with an Art Deco style metal (silver coloured) buckle. The belt has a raised square diamond pattern woven into the macrame.
The belt was made by female internees from Avondale, Church Road, Port Erin (Rushen Civilian Internment Camp) for the donor, Mrs Elspeth Kewley.
Measurements: overall: 72 cm x 6.5 cm
