Rushen Camp internee-made owl paperweight

Description: A varnished pale green concrete or ceramic paperweight in the shape of an owl with red eyes. The paperweight has a green baize covered base and it was made by a civilian internee in the Rushen Internment Camp during the Second World War.
The paperweight belonged to the donor's aunt, Kathleen Jones, who worked in the Rushen Internment camp as a Manx civilian worker in camp administration.
