Rushen Camp internee-made notebook

Description: A small handmade notebook with a dark blue cover with 'NOTES' glued onto it in red leather cut-out letters. The notebook cover has a red leather hinge and pen holder and is hand sewn in thick black thread. The notebook was made by a civilian internee in the Rushen Internment Camp during the Second World War. The paper notebook is loose inside the cover.
The notebook belonged to the donor's aunt, Kathleen Jones, who worked in the Rushen Internment camp as a Manx civilian worker in camp administration.
