Description: A handmade christening cap made by a female internee at Rushen Internment Camp during the Second World War. The item was made by female internees in the Rushen Internment Camp for the donor when she was a baby and for her christening (c.1942-3). The donor’s parents had a coal merchants in Port St Mary and her aunt had a boarding house in Port Erin.
