Description: Illustration for the story 'Teeval'. Calligraphy reads 'I(n)' (capital letter of first word of story). The illustration was drawn by Mrs Florence Teare née Norris at suggestion of Archibald Knox, her then art teacher and used by him in 'Manx Fairy Tales' (information from Mrs Teare, 1982).
The publication 'Manx Fairy Tales' by Sophia Morrison was first published in 1911 and reprinted in 1929 with title pages for each story illustrated by Archibald Knox. 'Teeval' is hand-written in pencil on the illustration.
