Description: A charcoal portrait of a plump man with moustache (40-50 years old). Portrait of a fellow internee by internee artist, Carl Felkel. Carl Felkel (1896-1984) was an Austrian painter interned at Hutchinson Camp.
Said to be Kurt Wagener (internee at Hutchinson Camp, Douglas) identification by Dr K.E. Hinrichsen on 6 April 1993 (fellow internee). Kurt Wagener was a singer who was also painted by Kurt Schwitters. According to his son, Mario Wagener (16 August 1991) he sang in the musical 'The Lisbon Story', 'Jenny Jones' and with Richard Tauber in the film 'Waltz Time' (1945).
