Manx slate and mineral vein
Description: Laminated metamorphosed siltstone and mudstone pelites (Manx Group) with <2cm wide veins of sucrosic clear quartz with marginal areas of muscovite and biotite. Also some K-feldspar veining. Part of Dr Gerhard Bersu's 1940 excavation for manganese.
