Metamorphosed Manx slate
Description: Greyish yellow green, fine-grained, laminated, metamorphosed siltstone and mudstone pelite with prominent black, vitreous, cleaved porphyroblasts (of ?biotite). Occasional thin sucrosic quartz veins. Part of Dr Gerhard Bersu's 1940 excavation for manganese.
