Description: Empty bottle of Borgo Molino Prosecco from 2018 Tourist Trophy (TT) sidecar podium celebration. From the Birchall brothers.
In 2018 the Birchalls won both Sidecar TT Races to become 8 times TT winners - also taking the outright race and lap records and being the first ever Sidecar team to lap the TT circuit in under 19 minutes.
Between 2009 and 2022 Ben and Tom Birchall (from Nottinghamshire) have won 12 TT sidecar races, their first win coming at the 2013 TT. They have also won World Sidecar Formula One and Formula Two Championships. Ben started racing as a sidecar passenger in 1999, and became a driver in 2003. Tom started racing as a sidecar passenger in 2003.
