Date made: 20 September 1860
Description: "In the middle of [Kirk Michael] village, and in the centre of the roadway, stands a beautiful memorial pillar; the church gate is opposite, and on each side the gate, on top of a low wall, two other neatly carved crosses have been placed." (Robert Paterson, Manx Antiquities, 1863, M 00777)
The west and east face of a cross recorded as 'Monumental runic cross north side of the church gate, Kirk Michael'. Dated 'Sept. 20. 1860.'
