Date made: 1940
Description: Pencil sketches produced by the donor's father Alfred Schwarzchild whilst interned on the Isle of Man, 1940 (he was a professional artist, forced to flee Germany by the Nazis). Pencil sketch showing men apparently preparing food in large cooking pots with stove pipes, dustbins to one side, and other smaller unfinished sketches. Executed on lined exercise paper. Reverse plain.
